Do you only rent homes in emergency situations?

No, we also rent mobile homes for new construction, home renovations and town/city renovation projects. Please call the office for more information.

Is there a monthly minimum for renting a mobile home?

Yes, there is a 3 month minimum requirement.  

Are there any utility connections I am responsible for after the home is delivered?

Yes, you as the homeowner will be responsible for scheduling both cable and phone installation with your service provider(s).

Do you allow pets?

Yes, the mobile homes are pet-friendly . There is a one-time, non-refundable fee for the normal wear and tear to the mobile home.

Are you a trailer park?

No, we rent mobile homes that are placed temporarily on your property while your house is being re-built, usually after a house fire or other disaster. The mobile home is removed from the property once your house is livable.

Are any permits required to place a mobile home on my property?

Yes. For insurance claims, American Mobile Homes will take care of pulling the building permit that is required by the town/city. If you are a house builder or renovating a home you will be responsible for securing the permit. 

What items are not provided by American Mobile Homes?

All houseware items (i.e.; linens, dishware, televisions, telephones, microwave)

Do you sell mobile home parts?

No.
